We’re passionate about two things here at O’Connor Heating & Cooling: providing the highest-quality heating and cooling services the greater Sioux City, IA area will ever see, and saving our clients as much money as possible. That’s why we’re so excited about our big summer deals. They do both!

Air Conditioner Cleaning & Checkup: Only $129

Has it been longer than a year since your last AC cleaning and checkup? Reach out today for the essential maintenance that will prolong your unit’s lifespan, reduce its need for repair, and lower your electricity bill!

  • Cleaning makes your AC last longer! When grime and debris accumulate on an AC’s condenser and evaporator coils, it forces the unit to work much harder to produce the same desired result. That extra work exerts needless strain on all of the unit’s moving parts, which wears them out prematurely.
  • Cleaning makes your AC more reliable! This may go without saying, but the harder mechanical components have to work, the greater their risk of breaking becomes. Regularly cleaning your AC is the best way to avoid a poorly timed breakdown and costly repairs.
  • Cleaning your AC saves you money! And not just because it helps you avoid repairing and replacing it. A cleaner AC is a more efficient AC – and a more efficient AC necessarily consumes less electricity. That’s perfect if you’re struggling to keep up with rising electricity costs!
  • AC checkups prevent big headaches! When an O’Connor HVAC technician performs an AC checkup, they look for any signs of problems that could cause performance issues in the foreseeable future. That enables us to make timely repairs which preserve our clients’ summer comfort.

$500 Off a 16 SEER System

Are you ready to get rid of your old, unreliable and inefficient AC? O’Connor is here to make its energy-efficient replacement as affordable as possible. Reach out today for $500 off a 16 SEER system by Rheem, with optional financing available as low as $69 per month!

  • What does SEER mean? “SEER” stands for seasonal energy efficiency ratio. It is derived by dividing an AC system’s cooling output over an average warm season by the total amount of energy it expends. A lower number indicates a less efficient AC system, whereas a higher number indicates one that uses less electricity to produce the same desired result.
  • What is a good SEER number? As of January 1st, 2023, all residential central AC units installed in the northern part of the United States must have a minimum SEER of 14. Likewise, an AC unit cannot earn the ENERGY STAR label unless its SEER is 14 or higher. Although AC units with SEER as high as 25 are available, a SEER of 16 is still considered extremely energy efficient. It uses around 13% less energy than the minimum requirement, and is accountable for producing significantly less greenhouse gasses as well.
